Question by CLAnswers: What is the best web site to find values on specific vintage watches?
I was going through old stuff and found some of my grandfather's watches. I'm guessing they are anywhere from 35 to 55 years old. I've typed the names of the watches into google search, but without much luck (so they may not be worth anything). The watches:
Matthey-Doret, electronic, transistorized, 17 jewels
Vulcain, 17 jewels
Pearl P Matic, De Luxe, 1972 Olympic Games model

I suggest approaching a reputed jeweler for your vintage watches. The one I know of is Fabrikant Fine Diamonds located at 5th Avenue in New York City. They buy vintage stuff and are known for their satisfactory transactions and competitive payouts.
